Heal Your Hips Workshop

A hip intensive

This 2.5-hour hip intensive workshop is built for practitioners who've spent years stretching their hips without lasting change. It focuses on building the strength that makes mobility safe and sustainable.

We'll look at all four compartments of the hip, front, back, inner and outer, what each one is responsible for, and how imbalance builds when one of them stops doing its job. We cover how to assess your own hip profile, work through a protocol of isometric holds that builds what passive stretching can't, and go pose by pose so you leave understanding what each shape asks of your hips and how to find range your body can support.

In this workshop you'll explore how to:

→ Assess your own hip profile and tell the difference between range of motion that helps and range that keeps you stuck

→ Train all four compartments of the hip, and understand how imbalance gets built

→ Build strength in the range you already have using isometric holds that build what passive stretching can't

→ Walk out with holds, each with a time and an effort level attached, ready for your next practice

→ Integrate the method into a flowing full sequence, and modify any posture that flares you up using pace, intensity, alignment, duration and props

Expect real work and clear explanations. Good for serious practitioners, teachers, anyone with recurring hip or low back discomfort, and anyone who wants their hips to hold up for the long run.
